The local craft beer brewery will be hosting a day-long block party at its Taproom on Saturday, August 6th.
Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Then look no further than our very own Ballard Brewery District, where legendary family-run brewery Reuben's Brews celebrates 10 years in business with its very own Ballard Block Party.
The festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a glassware giveaway and bagels available from Darling & Company. Then at noon, live music starts on the main stage on NW 51st Street. It’s going to be a fun-filled day for all ages on August 6th with highlights that include:
● Free 10th anniversary glassware for the first 100 visitors
● Four bands performing throughout the day, beginning at 12 p.m.
● All 10 beers in our 10th-anniversary collaboration series
● Robust Porter ice cream made by Full Tilt
● A kids area with activities and balloons
● 6 food vendors selling burgers, BBQ, tamales, and more
● Limited edition 10th anniversary hats, T-shirts, and posters
● The release of the final two beers in our collaboration series
“Our anniversary parties are always a fun way to catch up with our friends, neighbors, and industry partners,” says Reuben's Brew Co-founder Grace Robbings. “It feels a bit like a family reunion. And this year is going to be that much more special. We’ve been looking forward to this event for months and can’t wait to swap stories, share memories, and raise a toast to Ballard, our favorite neighborhood in the world!”
About Reuben's Brews
Adam and Grace Robbings first rolled up the garage door at 1406 53rd Street NW back in the Summer of 2012. Ten years later, many things have changed for the family brewery, just like the neighborhood itself. For starters, Reuben's Brews has become one of the most decorated breweries in Washington state, growing from 1 to 3 locations across Ballard. Most recently, the brewery won a gold medal at the 2022 World Beer Cup for its Hazealicious IPA (A great name, BTW). The team was also crucial in helping pave the way for today's Ballard Brewery District, which has become a must-visit destination for beer lovers traveling in the Pacific Northwest.

Of all the bullet points above detailing the block party's events, beer lovers should pay close attention to this one: The team at Reuben's Brews will be releasing the final two beers in part of their 10th-anniversary collaboration series - an IPA made with their Mug Club, and a barrel-aged team blend - and pouring all 10 beers in the collection, including fresh batches of the early releases. This means ice-cold, fresh beer for you to enjoy under Seattle's warm Summer sun.
